MiGoals: Animated Storefront Display

Rationale

For this project, I animated existing illustrations from Nedbank to create a dynamic and engaging storefront animation. The animation was designed to be showcased on a transparent screen, with the black background becoming transparent, creating a seamless visual effect. Animating the illustrations allowed the content to pop, drawing attention in a retail setting.

 

In today’s fast-paced digital world, short-form content reigns supreme. Platforms like TikTok have shaped content consumption with quick, engaging formats. We designed the animation to be 20 seconds long, repetitive, and vibrant, ensuring it would capture attention and hold the viewer’s gaze in the brief moments they interacted with it

Money App: Boosting Township Usage

Rationale

The goal of this campaign was to increase the adoption and usage of the Money App within township areas, specifically targeting Maponya Mall and other stores in these environments. The content was displayed both on storefront screens and on in-store TVs, ensuring high visibility both inside and outside the store to engage shoppers.

 

The campaign focused on raising awareness within the local community, particularly in areas with less digital engagement. By placing this content in high-traffic locations, we aimed to spark curiosity and prompt more users in the township to embrace the Money App.

Digital Banking Simplified

Rationale

The aim of this campaign was to showcase the futuristic and simplified approach to digital banking. The imagery was designed to reflect a sleek, modern vision of banking, using a cube to symbolize simplicity. The four rounded sides of the cube visually communicate the ease and streamlined nature of the service, highlighting the simplicity at the core of digital banking. This design was displayed on storefront screens to catch attention and convey the message that banking has never been easier or more accessible.

 

By emphasizing a futuristic aesthetic, the campaign positions digital banking as an intuitive, seamless experience that reflects the evolving needs of the modern consumer. The use of clean lines and innovative design reinforces the idea that digital banking is not only the future but is also simple and easy to use in today’s world.

Rationale

This campaign communicated the value of partnering with Nedbank Agri, targeting the agricultural sector with a B2B approach. To highlight the strategic advantage of this partnership, I used chess imagery to symbolize the calculated moves needed for success. The chessboard represented the business landscape, where the right move at the right time leads to winning.

 

The campaign combined agricultural themes with chess to show how partnering with Nedbank Agri gives businesses the edge to succeed. The visuals reinforced the idea of making critical financial moves, much like a chess player securing victory.
